As soon as the weather
permits, the finishing paint will be applied to the posts. Thanks to Scott
Clark and Don Pritchard for getting it in place and to Bill and Evie Shriver
for allowing it to be put on their land. Pray that God will use it to reach
many.

HOLY
CROSS - WICHITA
Singles Group
Holy Cross Singles
invite all adult singles to attend their events and Bible studies. Christian
growth and fellowship are the primary objectives of the Singles’ Ministry.
Singles who attend events and Bible studies are from many Lutheran churches
around Wichita. Individuals who are active in the ministry vary in ages from
25 to 60+ and include those never married, separated, divorced and widowed.

Seniors Group
The Holy Cross Seniors Group, the “Golden
Eagles” - seniors 55 and older - meets the third Thursday of each month
for lunch and a program. The cost is $6.00.To make reservations, please call the church office, (316) 684-5201

Holy Cross welcomes adult singles of all
ages to attend our events. Singles who attend events and Bible studies are
from many Lutheran churches around Wichita, but one need not be a member of
a Lutheran congregation to attend. Christian growth and fellowship are the
primary objectives of the Singles’ Ministry.

ASCENSION, WICHITA
Child Development Center
Located at 12885 W. Maple, our new facility houses the
Open Arms Child Development Center and a second campus for Word and
Sacrament ministry.
The Open Arms Child Development Center is now open to serve infants through
10-year-olds, with quality day care, before and after school care and
preschool. It provides year-round, five-days-a-week Christian care for your

RISEN SAVIOR - WICHITA
Cancer Support Group
Risen Savior Lutheran Church, Wichita, is forming a new group of Victory in
the Valley, a cancer support group. The group will meet on the third
Thursday of each month.
The March meeting will be at Risen Savior, 6770 East 34th North,
Wichita, on Thursday, March 20, 2003.

Read Through the Bible Gathering
Those
who are reading through the Bible are invited to join the Adult Bible Class
the first Sunday of each month for our review and discussion time. Our next
meeting will be in the Fellowship Hall at 9:10 a.m. on August 1, 2004. Join
us to review and discuss our readings, share insights as to what we have
read, and gain inspiration for our continued reading.
Office Hours
The church building is open most weekdays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The
church secretary is generally in the office on Mondays, Wednesdays and
Fridays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Pastor is usually in the Pastor’s study
from 8:30 a.m. to noon, Monday through Friday, and is available to meet at
other times - simply call and arrange for a mutually convenient time.
Please feel free to stop in at any time, but if you have something specific
you would like to address, it would be best to call ahead to assure that
ample time will be available.
