“What Can I Do?”
Have you
asked that question before when talk about Evangelism and witnessing
begins? Many of us have. We would like to join in, but we just don’t feel
we know how.
Here is something everyone can do. It is a way to connect
with some of our neighbors around the church. On Sunday, June 14th
at 2:30 in the afternoon, we are setting aside a time for prayer here at the
church. (It will be an informal gathering).

This song has been a special one for me over the years and is especially
meaningful as we celebrate the Day of Pentecost on May 31st and enter the
long season of Pentecost, sometimes known as “the season of the Holy
Spirit.” It was on Pentecost Day that the Holy Spirit came upon the
disciples. We often refer to the day of Pentecost as the birthday of the
Church. On the day the disciples received the Holy Spirit, “about three
thousand were added to their number.” (Acts 2:41)
